As some of you may know, I’m Public Relations Co-Chair for USC Troy Philippines, a filipino cultural organization at the University of Southern California. We hold events every year to promote cultural awareness as well as help out good causes. For example, last fall we held our annual Mabuhay Festival (above is a flier I helped put together for the festival), where we got a lot of donations of school supplies for impoverished students in the Philippines, and booked a lineup of really great musicians.
This semester we are holding our annual Philippine-American Culture Night (PACN), and need your help! It costs a lot of money to do the things we do, and we’d really appreciate it if you could lend five minutes of your time to sign up for free at MyEdu. We raise one dollar for everyone that signs up. We have a great group of students practicing many cultural dances to show you and that are already putting hours and hours of work in for out show, which will be in late March. Every little bit helps! Thank you so much!
